This month, Hurrdat ONE is bringing its most popular podcasts to the stage with the Hurrdat ONE Summer Series — a lineup of live shows featuring familiar voices from across the HD1 network. From community conversations to expert insights, these events invite fans to experience their favorite podcasts in a whole new way.

Live podcast recordings are gaining momentum in Omaha, offering fans a new way to engage with the people and stories shaping the community. Whether you’re into local eats, business insights, parenting stories or unfiltered humor, the Hurrdat ONE Summer Series delivers something for everyone.

Catch Hurrdat ONE Live All Summer Long

From hot spot recommendations with the team at Omaha Places to candid conversations with the Van Deeb Podcast, this series brings listeners face-to-face with their favorite hosts. Local radio legends Big Party and Molly will also take the stage with a live episode of The Big Party Show, bringing their signature energy and jokes to an in-person audience.

Live recordings will take place throughout the summer at both Hurrdat Sports Bar locations in La Vista and Gretna, with events scheduled during lunch hours and evenings. Each event features exclusive food and drink specials, plus the chance to be part of a lively, in-person audience as the shows unfold in real time.

Kristyna Engdahl

Kristyna Engdahl is an Associate Vice President at Hurrdat, where she contributes to both the Hurrdat ONE and the Hurrdat x Lukas Partners teams. Her work focuses on strategic communication, community storytelling and helping brands connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. Through Hurrdat ONE, she supports efforts to rethink how Omaha receives local news and information—aiming to make it more accessible, engaging and community-driven.

Before joining Hurrdat, Kristyna served as Vice President of Communications for the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA), where she was a spokesperson for venues including CHI Health Center, Charles Schwab Field and The RiverFront. She managed public communication for major events and redevelopment milestones like groundbreaking ceremonies and ribbon cuttings.

Kristyna’s background also includes nearly a decade in broadcast journalism, with reporting and anchoring roles at KETV NewsWatch 7 in Omaha and KNOP-TV in North Platte. That experience continues to shape her approach to storytelling, media relations and connecting with the community.
