Just because temperatures drop, doesn’t mean the Omaha’s farmers’ market scene has to hibernate.

Experience the warmth of winter shopping every Sunday through March at the Omaha Winter Market, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fōwling Warehouse located at 5585 North 90th Street. The vibrant community market offers a warm alternative to outdoor markets, while supporting more than 50 local vendors throughout the winter and early spring months. Parking and admission to the market is free.

While there is less produce than late spring and summer markets, Omaha Winter Market vendors compensate with a multitude of handmade crafts and artisan goods that include snacks, sweets, sauces and many other locally made products.

The indoor venue provides a cozy alternative to traditional outdoor markets while maintaining the community atmosphere that draws crowds during warmer months. The Omaha Winter Market is a fun weekend activity for families and anyone looking to support local vendors without braving the cold.

The Fōwling Warehouse’s beverages bar remains open during market hours, and food trucks are set up on-site, giving visitors plenty of dining and drink options. Shoppers looking to mix entertainment with their browsing can also “Fōwl” between purchases. Fōwling is a mash-up of bowling and football combined into a fun experience.
