One of Nebraska’s largest disc golf tournaments, A Call to Arms, just completed its 33rd annual event. 🔥

The tournament takes place at Lake Cunningham, Hummel Park and Seymour Smith Park and features pro and amateur athletes.
Afro Fest is a giant party that celebrates the culture, food, and music of the African diaspora, and it’s open to anyone in Omaha! You’ll get the opportunity to taste food from different regions of Africa, dance to incredible music, and interact with amazing people.

Council Bluffs welcomed a new riverfront spot this week. The Charles E. Lakin Foundation Pier at River’s Edge celebrated its grand opening with food trucks from Tastee Treet and Kona Ice, plus live music.  The pier is open now for biking, scootering, and walking, and is a great way to get outside.
