Connected Roots Care Center held its 5th annual Big Dreams Festival at Omaha’s Stinson Park on Saturday. The event celebrates kids of all abilities and brought tons of families out for a day filled with fun, activities and community!

It’s no secret that the Omaha streetcar construction has made things more difficult for downtown Omaha restaurants and businesses, but now you can help while enjoying an epic party! On Sept. 5 from 2-8 p.m., the city is shutting down 16th St between Harney & Farnam streets for an awesome block party with food, drinks, and live entertainment from downtown Omaha businesses.

Few Omaha neighborhoods have the passion and pride that Dundee does, and that’s best shown each year at Dundee Day. With food trucks, live music, beer gardens, and dozens of local vendors, Dundee Day is the perfect example of what makes Omaha such a great city to live in.

WanderNebraska: The Great Road Trip brought a little bit of the whole state to Omaha. Guests gathered at The Woolworth Building for a virtual road trip across Nebraska. For more than 80 years, the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation has worked to preserve, share, and reimagine Nebraska’s history, funding projects across all 93 counties that restore historic places and expand educational access. They also fund scholarships honoring Nebraskans who served their country.
