We got a behind-the-scenes look at the Heldt family farm in Yutan, Nebraska, where they’ve been growing produce since the 1980s. Now in its fifth generation, the Heldts hope to continue bringing only the best fruits and veggies to neighbors in Omaha and Lincoln.

The 3 on 3 basketball tournament takes over the northwest parking lot at Oak View Mall on Saturday, August 29, with divisions for youth and adults.
 
Plus, you don’t have to play to enjoy it. There’ll be a slam dunk contest, three-point contest, knockout, a DJ, food trucks and more.
 
It’s a full day bringing Omaha’s basketball community together.
 
Who’s got next?

This Saturday, more than 100 people will take off from the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln at noon and walk 50 miles to Omaha over 22 hours. It’s all to raise money to support veterans facing mental health challenges and homelessness in our community.
