Heartwood Preserve is hosting a 4th of July party unlike any in Omaha! The park has transformed into a beach-themed playground with water slides and bounce houses, sand pits, food trucks, live music, and more! The event runs until 10 p.m. on the 4th of July, so if you want to experience one of Omaha’s most unique Independence Day celebrations, get out here!

📍 Heartwood Preserve (301 S. 145th St.Omaha, NE 68154)
Celebrate these other countries’ Independence Days with local restaurants in Nebraska!

Venezuela: El Arepon.
Colombia: Salchipapas Monster.
Latin Fusion: Latin Bites Food Truck
Perú: The Golden Chicken.

Whether you’re celebrating or just looking for a new spot to eat, these are must-try places.
You may not have heard of Aviles Latin Market yet... but when you experience it, you’ll have a new favorite Omaha stop for Mexican food. This small shop off 108th & Q sells grocery items, treats, and produce from all over Latin America, but it’s the small counter serving hot food in the back that’s putting it on Omaha’s map.

If you could only see concerts at one venue in Omaha for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?
