The Nebraska State Fair is hosting its 157th annual event in Grand Island.
 
The fair runs through Sept. 7 at 501 E Fonner Park Rd.

Chicken Salad Chick just announced that it is expanding to Nebraska for the first time.

Scott and Tisha Miller signed a seven-restaurant development deal to bring seven locations across Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island. 

This fast-casual restaurant is, of course, known for its chicken salad and sides that fit the Southern-hospitality feel.
Another Millard Days Parade is in the books.

Old Millard was packed this morning as the annual parade made its way down Millard Avenue.

Millard Days continues through Sunday at Andersen Park off Millard Avenue.
