Midwest Fest brings more than 70 Omaha makers, creators, and entrepreneurs to create a one-of-a-kind experience to support local.

With food trucks, mobile taps, a DJ, yard games, and more, Midwest Fest drew thousands of Omahans to Heartwood Preserve Sunday for a celebration of all things local.

Afro Fest, held this year at Sonny's in Omaha's Builder's district, is an awesome celebration of African culture, music, and food. It was an immersive celebration uniting the rich heritage of Africa with Omaha's local community.
 
This annual event also looked toward the future, highlighting African food trucks, makers, and artists to showcase how the culture is growing and thriving in our city.
Rally on the Route, the largest collaborative block party downtown Omaha has seen, stole the show Saturday.
 
In an effort to support the local businesses impacted by the ongoing streetcar construction, the block on 16th St between Harney and Farnam was shut down to celebrate downtown Omaha's food, drink, and performing arts. Omaha showed up in droves and had a grand time, proving this city love and supports its local businesses.
