New MCWS Menu Items Are Here!
Charles Schwab Field is adding 31 new menu items to the 2026 Men’s College World Series concessions menu. The exciting new additions include several variations of smash burgers, hot dogs, loaded nachos, and more!
What’s New on the Menu at the Men’s College World Series This Season
Executive Chef Katie Cochran and her team have been given great freedom to express their creativity with the MCWS menu, and they’re not messing around. Cochran said her goal was to add at least 2-3 items to each concession stand, and Hurrdat ONE’s Dan Hoppen was among the media members invited to taste some of the new items. Among the standouts were the Banh Mi Smashburger, Texas Leaguer Sausage, Nashville Hot Tenders, and Midwest Monster Twinkie.
Midwest Monster Twinkie

This one-pound behemoth takes everything we love about the childhood treat and dials it up to 11. The Twinkie, made in house, is a soft, squishy yellow cake filled with a rich sweet cream. The entire cake is battered and deep fried, giving it a crispy outer shell. Then it’s drizzled with melted chocolate, topped with a strawberry compote, and dusted with powdered sugar.
Imagine a slice of vanilla cake and a funnel cake were combined into one delicious food item. At the intersection of nostalgia and deep-fried bliss, you’ll find the Midwest Monster Twinkie. Cochran did advise sharing it with 3-4 other people while at the Men’s College World Series—it’s not meant to be consumed by one person alone!
Banh Mi Smashburger

Omaha has plenty of smash burgers, but none quite like this unique Charles Schwab Field offering. Borrowing inspiration from the classic Vietnamese sandwich, the exciting aspect of this burger is the fried pork belly atop the burger. These porky cubes are glazed with gochujang, so they not only add a nice crunch, but provide an underlying sweetness that accents the acidity of the pickled vegetables. Kewpie mayo brings a light creamy consistency to round the burger out.
Smash burgers are new to the Men’s College World Series menu this year, and variations will debut all around the ballpark. The beef patties are seared to a thin consistency on the flattop, giving them crispy edges and a nice smoky flavor.
Texas Leaguer Sausage

You’ll find hot dogs at any Omaha ballpark, but Charles Schwab Field took things to the next level for the 2026 College World Series. The protein for this offering is a thick, juicy black forest bacon sausage that not only has a great snap, but wonderful salty, porky flavor.
Then comes a layer of BBQ brisket, all smoked in house. And just when it seems the sausage will be too savory, caramelized onions and BBQ sauce bring a layer to sweetness to balance it all out. Throw in a delightfully soft, squishy brat bun and you have one of the best hot dogs or sausages you’ll find at an Omaha ballpark.
Nashville Hot Tenders

So many Omaha restaurants offer some version of “Nashville Hot” chicken, but most usually fail to deliver the heat. That’s not the case with the Nashville Hot Tenders at the Men’s College World Series! While the spice isn’t overwhelming, it does linger in the back of the throat. What’s really remarkable about the tenders is how crispy they stay despite being completely covered in sauce.
The platter comes with crispy tots and dill pickle chips, as well as a housemade ranch to help cool the flames from the chicken tenders.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2026 Men’s College World Series. The new menu items will be available at various concession stands around the ballpark, so keep your eyes out for these and the other creative offerings at Omaha’s summer classic!
