About TreeRush Adventures Omaha
Spend a summer day enjoying TreeRush at Bellevue’s Fontenelle Forest! Here’s what you need to know:
- Location: In Bellevue’s Fontenelle Forest, just behind the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center

What to Expect at TreeRush Adventures
Once you purchase your ticket and sign a waiver, it’s best to arrive early to check in and prepare for training. After you’ve checked in, here’s what to expect from your treetop adventure in Omaha:
- Attend 40-minute training with an explanation of safety and how to use the equipment—harnesses have a 275 lbs limit
- Get fitted for a harness and practice clipping and unclipping a carabiner
- Put on protective gloves—you can bring your own or buy them for $5.50
- If needed, put your items in a rental locker for $2
- Work with the TreeRush trainers throughout the course
- Yell “staff” for someone to come help you
- Use refillable water stations when needed
Get to Know the TreeRush Courses
Once you feel ready and are given the okay to climb, get ready to explore the five courses, which range from three feet off the ground to 55 feet! TreeRush asks that first-time climbers climb a yellow or green route first to get acclimated. To get to know which course is right for you, here are the details to know:
- Purple Course: Easy courses for ages 5 and up, with heights reaching 10 feet off the ground
- Yellow Course: Beginner or novice courses for ages 7 and up, with heights reaching 12 feet
- Green Course: Intermediate courses for ages 7 and up, with heights reaching up to 20 feet
- Blue Course: Advanced courses for ages 10 and up, with heights reaching up to 35 feet
- Black Diamonds: Difficult courses for ages 12-14 (with adult supervision) and ages 15 and up (without adult supervision)
TreeRush Tickets & Pricing
There are a few ticket options for your visit to TreeRush Adventures, including general admission (limit three hours), “Try-It Tickets” (limit two hours), and group rates. You can purchase tickets in person, but spots may be limited, especially for larger groups—instead, buy tickets online ahead of time. You do not need to pay if you’re just watching instead of climbing, and tickets do not include access to Fontenelle Forest. Pricing details include:
- General Admission: $25 for 5-6 year olds, $49 for 7-11 year olds, and $59 for 12 and older
- “Try-It Tickets”: $25 for 5-6 year olds, $36 for 7-11 year olds, and $44 for 12 and older
- Group Rates: Rate depends on group size (minimum 8) and guest age range; contact TreeRush for details
