South-central Nebraska was the center of some rare seismic activity this afternoon. According to the USGS, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Cowles, roughly 28 miles south of Hastings, just before 1 p.m.
The quake`s shallow depth, only about 3 km, sent tremors across the region, with people reporting shaking as far as Lincoln and Kansas. No major damage reported. Did you feel it?👇
